Treat your Hemorrhoids with Herbal Ointments and Salves
They say topical application of ointment containing herb extracts only show limited effects in your quest to heal hemorrhoids. It usually leads to temporary relief and does not provide long-term healing effects to your hemorrhoids. Usually, the ointments can help you with the itching, swelling, and discomfort but will not make the hemorrhoids completely go away. That is why ointments are not recommended for long-term local treatment of hemorrhoids as it can be very difficult to tolerate.
However, there are salves that also contain herbs that can help you effectively deal with your hemorrhoid condition. One of these salves is the comfrey herbal salve.
